There is no widely recognized certification for striping contractors, no published quality benchmark for property managers to reference, and no formal continuing education pathway for crews in the field.
PLSIC was founded in 2026 to fill that gap. We are developing the industry's first technical standards, professional certifications, and training curricula — built by practitioners, for practitioners.

PLSIC serves three audiences. Contractors gain a recognized credential, access to training, and a listing in our searchable directory. Property managers can verify contractor qualifications, reference published standards in their specifications, and reduce premises liability exposure. Manufacturers and suppliers participate in standards development, gain visibility with our contractor network, and license white-label training content.
PLSIC is currently enrolling founding members — contractors, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders who want to help shape the organization's standards and programs from the ground up. Founding members receive governance rights, early access to the certification program, a permanent "Founding Member" designation, and locked-in pricing for the duration of their commitment. The founding member enrollment window closes on September 15, 2026.
